Role Summary

As an HR Executive, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operations of HR functions, from recruitment and onboarding to performance management and employee engagement. You will contribute to fostering an inclusive, respectful, and productive workplace culture through proactive support and strategic HR initiatives.

Your Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Support the hiring process end to end including liaising with hiring managers, job postings, candidate screening, interview co-ordination, and communication.
- Prepare offer letters and employment contracts.
- Conduct necessary checks (e.g., right to work, references).
- Facilitate welcoming and inclusive onboarding experiences.
- Conduct new employee orientations and introductions.
- Contribute to inclusive recruitment strategies.
2. Employee Records Management:
- Maintain confidential and accurate employee records.
- Ensure data consistency across HR systems.
- Support preparation of key HR documents.
3. Employee Relations:
- Act as a first point of contact for employee queries.
- Help resolve issues sensitively and fairly
- Promote a positive, inclusive and respectful working environment.
4. Compensation & Benefits
- Administer employee benefits (e.g., medical insurance, wellness schemes) and any employee enquiries.
- Assist employees in understanding their entitlements.
- Coordinate annual benefits enrolment and any benefits related events or communications.
5. Compliance & Policy Management
- Ensure compliance with UK employment law (and US where relevant).
- Help maintain and communicate HR policies and procedures.
- Stay informed about HR best practices and regulations.
6. Performance Management
- Support the annual review processes.
- Help identify and coordinate training and development opportunities.
- Assist with development plans and career growth initiatives.
7. HR Projects & Culture
- Lead and support HR initiatives such as engagement surveys and DEI programmes.
- Help organise company-wide events and activities.
- Continuously improve HR systems and practices.
- Support the Office Manager on occasion on office related matters.
What You Bring
- Experience in HR, approx. 3-4 years in a related role such as HR Coordinator.
- Understanding of UK employment legislation and HR practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence using HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
- Detail-oriented, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- A proactive, people first mindset.
- Eligible to work in the UK and can provide the necessary documentation.
